Peck Permanent Art Collection
Generously supported by Jody & Ken Peck, the Peck Permanent Art Collection is a celebration of work from notable Canadian artists. Select works include pieces by Chris Cran, Johnny Taylor, as well as works by Jason Carter.
In 1997, artist Bryn Murray’s self-portrait (96” x 96”, acrylic on panel) was acquired by Nextfest, a sister company to Theatre Network. Remarkably when the old Roxy was lost to fire in 2015, this work survived, and was professionally restored. It now hangs in the lobby of the new Roxy as a link to the past, and to the many works that were lost from the previous Theatre Network permanent collection. In recognition of this, the Murray Family generously donated our first pieces to the new permanent collection, with Bryn’s self-portrait, being a central piece.
